The Oakton 35418-80 pH 610 meter is a handheld, waterproof and dustproof meter with kit that measures pH and mV and comes with probe, buffers, electrode holders, rubber boot, and hard carrying case. A meter is commonly used to measure the pH and mV of substance. This meter features ATC, with pH calibration up to six points, at most used values for a wide range of results. It has up to 15 buffer options with auto-buffer recognition of USA, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Deutsches Institut für Normung (DIN) and PWB standards, for ease of use. It has a large, backlit, multi-line LCD screen with electrode status indicator and calibration data for ease of viewing. The meter has a built-in, real-time clock, and adjustable, set-point alarms to remind you when calibration is due. It stores up to 500 data sets, with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) date and time stamping, and has IrDA wireless technology for data communication. It has dual power-up for choice of batteries with field use, or optional AC power adapter for lab use. The meter has password protection for security, and is Ingress Protection (IP) 67-rated (even with no probe attached), for protection against solid objects or liquids.
The 35418-10 pH 610 meter has manual or Automatic Temperature Compensation from 0 to 100 degrees C, and works in an ambient operating temperature of 0 to 50 degrees C (32 to 122 degrees F). It can be calibrated at six buffer values, with selection of four sets: USA 1.68, 4.01, 7.01, 10.01, 12.45; NIST 1.68, 4.01, 6.86, 9.18, 12.45; DIN 1.09, 2.06, 4.65, 6.79, 9.23, 12.75, or custom buffers. mV calibration is offset up to + or - 150, temperature offset 0.1 degree C (0.1 degree F) increments. pH range -2.000 to 19.999, resolution 0.1/0.01/0.001, accuracy of + or - 0.002. Its mV range is + or - 2000, resolution 0.10 and accuracy of + or - 0.2. Temperature range is -10.00 to 110.0 degrees C (14.0 to 230.0 degrees F), selectable, resolution 0.1 degree C (0.1 degree F), accuracy + or - 0.5 degrees C (+ or - 0.9 degrees F). The meter is 7.25(l) x 3.25(w) x 2.25(h) inches, and weighs 1.0 lb (0.45 kg). It comes with an all-in-one, pH/temperature probe that has an epoxy-body for impact-resistance and durability, and a single-junction for general-purpose application. The kit also comes with pH buffers (60 mL each of 4.01, 7.00, electrode storage solution, and rinse water), two electrode holders, rubber boot, and hard carrying case, and batteries. it works with four 1.5V AA batteries (not included)for up to 500 hours of continuous use, or universal AC adapter (not included).
pH testers measure the acidity or alkalinity of a substance and are commonly used by researchers, manufacturers, and hobbyists in aquaculture, agriculture, hydroponics, wine-making, and water-testing, and for scientific applications. Conductivity is the ability of a solution or material to conduct an electrical current.
